221A Fellowship Opens Call for $216,000 in Artist Studio Awards

Vancouver, January 31, 2024 — The call for nominations is now open for the 221A Fellowship, offering three 18-month non-residential studio placement awards to support artistic creation with a trifecta of essentials: time, space, and money. 

Each artist will receive a $72,000 stipend to develop online and in-person cultural outputs, such as talks, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, podcasts, and digital works. The studios will offer cross-pollination between Fellows, hosted at a new facility at 825 Pacific Street.
