Zin Taylor

Zin Taylor (b. 1978, Calgary) is currently based in Brussels. He received his MFA from the University of Guelph in 2005, and his BFA from the Alberta College of Art in 2000. His use of environments as material for sculpture and thinking has been described as “thoughts about a subject, turned into forms about a subject.” Taylor has presented solo exhibitions throughout Europe and North America, recently including The Ceremony and the Spirit, LA Loge, Brussels (2012), Art Statements, Art Basel (2012) and The Story of Stripes and Dots, Jessica Bradley, Toronto and MuKHA, Antwerp (2012). Writing and artist books by Zin Taylor have been published by Sternberg Press (Berlin), Bywater Bros. Editions (Port Colborne), Mousse Publishing (Milan), and Artforum (New York). He is represented by Jessica Bradley Gallery (Toronto) and Supportico Lopez (Berlin).
