Reiko Pleau (she/they), a yonsei Japanese Canadian settler residing on the unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations, brings a unique blend of artistic and archival expertise to our team. They are currently pursuing archival studies at the UBC School of Information, and hold a BFA in Art History and Studio Arts from Concordia University, unceded Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) territories. Their creative practice is interdisciplinary, combining drawing, painting, installation, research, writing, and performance. She is currently a Summer Intern at 221A and previously served as a 221A Board Member in 2023 - 2024.
