Muhan Zhang (she/her) is a queer, quadruple-Gemini arts worker. She grew up as the eldest daughter of Chinese immigrants on the unceded and stolen territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, and səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ peoples. In her role as marketing manager at Out On Screen, Muhan uplifts and celebrates 2SLGBTQIA+ people and our stories through the annual Vancouver Queer Film Festival and Out In Schools program. She studied Art History and East Asian Studies at McGill University, and received a Master of Arts in Visual Arts Administration from NYU.
Muhan previously worked at Sector Equity for Anti-Racism in the Arts (SEARA), the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU, Rubin Museum of Art, Access Gallery, and Richmond Art Gallery. She enjoys songwriting, crafting, and shiny things.
