Lara Honrado

Lara Honrado led the development of Culture|Shift, the City of Vancouver’s new 10-year culture plan, as Assistant Director of Arts, Culture and Community Services. She also led efforts to address equity & anti-racism at the City and in Vancouver’s pandemic emergency response. She is an Action Canada Fellow and was Director of Community Relations for Vancouver’s longest-serving Mayor. Lara is active in the Filipinx diaspora community and currently leads a pre-seed funded startup developing tools to mitigate bias and discrimination in hiring and employee retention.
