Adi Kuntsman Senior Lecturer in Information and Communications at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. Their past work explored queer and migrant online communities, regional Internet cultures in the Middle East and Eastern and Central Europe, digital emotions, and militarism and political violence on social media. Adi’s recent work focuses on the use of selfies in political actions, digital memory, the politics of ‘opting out’, and environmental damages of digital communication.
