Erika Wong leads the development of a study on the conditions of 221A’s artistic programming and cultural services available to studio tenants across facilities, by conducting interviews and surveys, and offers an analysis of her findings with regards to the digital ecosystem, and the development of the internet of value. To this end, Wong's study will collect information from 221A’s board, staff, and tenants. The final format of her surveys and interview protocols will be developed in conversation with 221A’s studio services team with regards to best practices, ensuring the continued good relationships between the organization and the Organization's studio tenants. Her work on this project will help 221A assemble a 360⁰ survey of its operations and conditions, so that we may better plan for the overall ambitions of the organization and its users. The study will build on Wong’s PhD at the University of Brighton, where she is researching the uses of digital technologies, such as online, peer-to-peer (P2P) platforms, to provide added avenues for the cultural industries to increase economic security.
