Andrea Fatona is an Associate Professor and is currently the Graduate Program Director of the Criticism and Curatorial Practice at the Ontario College of Art and Design. She is the former curator of contemporary art at the Ottawa Art Gallery, and has worked as the programme director at Video In, Vancouver, Co-Director of Artspeak Gallery, Vancouver, and Artistic Director of Artspace Gallery, Peterborough.
Fatona is the recipient of awards from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, Canada Council for the Arts, and the Ontario Arts Council. She is a contributing editor at C Magazine and TOPIA: Canadian Journal of Cultural Studies. She has published scholarly articles, catalogue essays, and book chapters in a range of publications.
