Sungpil is the Spaces Coordinator at 221A. He has been in the non profit arts sector for over 10 years. His role involves the onsite community and tenancy relationships at 221A’s studio buildings. He has worked at VIVO Media Arts Centre organizing exhibitions (2017-2019), as well as running an independent curatorial project based in Chinatown called Spare Room (2014-2019). As a material practice, Sungpil currently makes photographic documentation with a focus on film portraiture. He has completed his BA in Art History at University of British Columbia.
