I AM CANNIFA (2015 – ongoing)
Our aim is to teach our method of collaboration by disrupting social media, and using that disruption to produce content and narrative. We are concerned with motherhood, obsession, rejection, comedic replies to those who oppress us, and personal and collaborative growth. While the collaboration occasionally retweets or provides information on cannibalism, this is strictly a (powerful) metaphor for us. Primarily, we seek to make strong connections with each other, the other, and living artists internationally to spread our thematic missives. From this process of disrupting we will connect, build our own network, and continue the conversation of friendship that began with the origin of this account.
