Pietro Sammarco

Pietro Sammarco is currently a graduate student in the School of Communication at Simon Fraser University. He’s currently exploring the potential for using soundscape composition and hacking of audio equipment to explore the meaning of e-waste for Vancouver as a global city. He records bands, does music and sound for film, and DJs karaoke. He was a director with The Safe Amplification Site Society, a non-profit venue dedicated to music for people of all ages. He has a bachelor in Media Arts from Emily Carr, and spent time as an audio engineer work-study at the Banff Centre.
