Kara Hansen is an artist and writer living in Vancouver. She received a BFA in Critical and Cultural Practices and minor in Curatorial Studies from Emily Carr University. She participated in the Banff Centre Residency “Confuse the Cat” led by Ieva Miseviciüté and Michael Portnoy. Her writing has been issued in print and online publications such as GRAY, The Art Book Review, and Bartleby Review.
