Jeremy Hutchison

Jeremy Hutchison is an artist based in London. Drawing from his background in linguistics and advertising, his work takes apart and reassembles processes of manufacturing, marketing, and retail to uncover the mass psychologies motivating consumer culture. Recent solo and group exhibitions include: Objectless Expansion, Division of Labour, Worcester (2014); vestibular dysfunction, Bikini Wax, Mexico City (2014); ERRATUM®, National Technical Library, Prague (2014); You Can’t Choose Your Neighbours, SOMA, Mexico City (2014); [everything becomes mysterious], Christine Koenig Galerie, Vienna (2013); Bodies That Matter, Galeri Mana, Istanbul (2013); Points of Departure, ICA, London (2013); Acoustic Mirrors, 176 Gallery / Zabludowicz Collection, London (2012); The Pavement and the Beach, Paradise Row, London (2011). His project Demand and Supply (2013) won the inaugural Art Projects Artist Award at London Art Fair 2015.
