Born in Quetta, Pakistan, and now working in Karachi, artist Seher Naveed received a BFA from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Karachi in 2007 and an MFA from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (University of the Arts London) in 2009. She uses drawing, paper cuts, screen and digital print to explore issues around the archive, utopia and everyday life. She has participated in various local and international group exhibitions such as Fact/Fission, Aicon Gallery, New York (2012); Drawing Mandalas, Canvas Gallery, Karachi (2012); Stop, Play, Pause, Repeat, Lawrie Shabibi Gallery, Dubai (2012); Mere Humd®um, Aicon Gallery, NY (2012); And Nothing but the Truth, Indus Valley Gallery, Karachi (2011); Perception vs Progression, Khaas Gallery, Islamabad (2011); Encounters, Rohtas Gallery, Lahore (2011). She is currently working as a senior lecturer in the Department of Fine Art at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Karachi.
