Debra Zhou is an independent curator, editor, translator, social media specialist and artist. Her curatorial practice explores the production and the presentation of sound-based works. She is currently the Communications Specialist at the Vancouver Art Gallery, and has previously held positions as an editor of the YISHU Journal of Contemporary Chinese Art, communications manager at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden Society, Assistant Curator at Centre A: Centre for Contemporary Asian Art and Curatorial Assistant at the Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art.
