221A is looking to welcome a Membership & Events Coordinator to our team. We invite you to read the full job description—compensation included—and apply.
A little bit about us: 221A is a nonprofit organization that works with artists and designers to research and develop cultural, social and ecological infrastructure. We keep artists in the city, through studio placement fellowships, residencies, affordable housing and work spaces, education programs, and research and advocacy. 221A envisions a pluralistic society in which all people have the means to access and make culture.
Be part of an organization that values:
- Access as on-going practice, kinship and kindness as methods, and love as a process
- Moving at the pace of trust to nurture relationships amongst self-organizing communities, cultures, ecosystems and across generations
- Accountability to our community and neighbours through anti-racism, anti-disposability and transparent communication
Even if you feel you may not meet all the qualifications, please consider applying—221A is mindful of the systemic barriers faced by job applicants, and we will consider combinations of lived experience, work experience, and education, as well as opportunities for mentorship.
This call will remain open until the position is filled. 221A thanks all applicants in advance for understanding that due to capacity limitations, only applicants under consideration will be contacted.
Posting will be removed when the position is filled.
We look forward to receiving your application!
