Zebulon Zang creates artwork through studying the production of mechanical images and the possibilities of optics.The mediating role that optical devices serve between events and their documentation is often the focus of the work and leads to a context and materially driven exhibition program for his films and images.
He has exhibited his work at CSA Space, Avenue and Dynamo Arts Association. He runs the Maillardville Cultural Appreciation Society, an exhibition space in Coquitlam, British Columbia, made for the promotion of cultural exchange and alternative forms of exhibition making.
