Bopha Chhay is a writer and editor based in Vancouver, Canada. She is the co-founder and editor of livedspace, a research and publishing organization investigating the social production of space in relation to contemporary cultural production. She holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Art History from the University of Auckland. Her interest lies in different ways to approach writing and publishing about contemporary art and how to situate visual arts within a wider social context. She has previously worked at Enjoy Public Art Gallery an Artist-Run Centre in Wellington, New Zealand and has also worked as an Editorial Assistant at Afterall (Contemporary Arts Research and Publishing Organization) at Central Saint Martins College of Arts & Design in London, United Kingdom. She is currently the Projects Coordinator at 221A.
